Quick fixes for the most common capture situations.
Only the visible area is captured
On internal Chrome pages (chrome://, Chrome Web Store) extensions cannot scroll the page, so only the visible area is available. On file:// pages, enable “Allow access to file URLs” on the extension card at chrome://extensions first.
Capture stopped midway
- Do not switch tabs or resize the window during capture.
- Wait for lazy content to finish loading before starting.
- For very long pages, choose “Save in parts” or a smaller scale.
Result looks incomplete
Pages that load content endlessly or virtualize lists cannot be captured in full by any screenshot tool. Capture the needed region, or use Clean capture to hide banners and chats first.
